The Old Fort Lawn is located by the Lost Quarry Swimming Pools. Texas Limestone arches frame beautiful views of the Hill Country and the sunset. [Maximum guests: 200.]

The Plaza San Saba is located directly off the hotel lobby. It is surrounded on three sides by the hotel, with the open end facing out over the hill country, guests are seated on either side of a large granite coy pond. [Maximum guests: 350.]

The Palmer Course is located about two miles away from the resort, and offers breathtaking views of the hill country. This is an ideal venue for a bride and groom that are looking for beautiful, unique, charming location. There is a large area adjacent to the clubhouse that is available for tenting. [Maximum guests: 200.]

Adjacent to the The Resort Course Clubhouse, the Palo Duro Pavilion is 3,200 square feet, has a rustic, elegant look, and is surrounded on all sides by windows. It is the perfect space for a couple looking for something other than a “traditional hotel ballroom”. The Pavilion has it’s own private terrace that looks over the driving range and city lights and in the summer months you can see the fireworks at Fiesta Texas.[Maximum guests: 150.]

The San Antonio Grand Ballroom is 17,000 square feet, and can be sectioned off into smaller areas. The room can accommodate 50 to 1,000 guests, depending on the number of sections used. The ballroom is extremely elegant, with 20’ high ceilings, tasteful décor, and large chandeliers. While the room itself is enclosed, there is a large foyer right outside that over looks the golf course and hill country. [Maximum guests: 50 to 1000.]

We have an award-winning culinary team at The Westin La Cantera Resort directed by our Executive Chef, John Armstrong, and our Banquet Chef, Adrian Garcia.. Our banquet menus provide an exciting array of choices for the bride and can be tailored to meet each couple's specific needs. Every bride and groom has the opportunity for a menu tasting, and to meet our culinary team to discuss their menu. To truly upgrade your culinary experience, our on-site pastry chef can assist with a specialty dessert and our sommelier will assist with food and wine pairings. Please note, all food and beverage (with the exception of the wedding cake) must be provided by the hotel.

The Westin La Cantera Resort is located in the Northwest corner of San Antonio, at the intersection of 1-10 and Loop 1604. We are about 20 minutes from the San Antonio airport, and 30 minutes from downtown San Antonio. We have many amenities and recreational options at the hotel, making this the ideal location for a weekend wedding getaway.
